Position Overview:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking materials. Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments and relocate items within the warehouse when needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - include but are not limited to the following: Safely and efficiently use material handling equipment (Forklift) to unload, load, pull, or move products and supplies throughout the warehouse. Perform daily equipment checks prior to the beginning of an assigned shift, including checking the battery, brakes, lift hook controls, and fire extinguisher. Properly count, wrap, and tag items for receipt and shipment, assuring the accuracy of shipping & receiving. Uses supply tickets to ensure proper location of stock within the Warehouse Locator System. Removes selected items from the slot, using efficient physical dexterity and depth perception. Safely transports finished goods to freezer, cooler, and dry rack locations. Responsible for the accuracy of inventory transactions and the establishment of proper controls in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor. Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards. Cultural fit that embodies the company's core values.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Must have experience operating a stand-up forklift experience required. Must successfully pass the Hickory Farms PIV certification course (written and driving observation). Demonstrate being a great team player. Experience utilizing an RF scanner device preferred. Microsoft AX/D365 ERP or equivalent ERP experience is a plus Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, are a plus Must be able to work overtime, including weekends when necessary. High school diploma or GED required 1-year related Lift truck driver experience required. Successful completion of the Hickory Farms Forklift Driver Training and Certification program. Experience picking orders utilizing an RF scanner. Bilingual preferred. Excellent verbal, written, and mathematical skills relevant to the position.

Compensation:
$17.50 As a seasonal employee, you are not eligible to participate in the Company's employee benefits programs. Any benefits provided will be in accordance with applicable state and federal law.
