Material Handler / Sit Down Forklift (Temp-to-Hire)

Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:20pm (3-day weekends!) About the Role The AllStaff Group is hiring a Material Handler / Sit Down Forkliftfor a well-established manufacturer in Mount Prospect, IL. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity offering steady hours, great pay, and long weekends every week. Responsibilities Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks and verify shipments. Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility. Issue raw materials and components to production areas and restock returned items. Pack, label, and palletize finished goods per customer specifications. Prepare shipments for outside processing and non-conforming parts. Enter accurate data into the company's manufacturing system, vendor/customer websites, and shipping software. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Keep work areas, docks, and storage areas clean and safe. Requirements Must have sit-down forklift experience (required to be considered). Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly. Comfortable using computers for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions. Strong attention to detail, math skills, and ability to follow written instructions. Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision. Why Join? 3-day weekends, every week!
