We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator/Backup CDL Spotter Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials within the shipping and production areas, as well as serving as a backup CDL spotter driver to move trailers from various locations in the Quincy, IL area.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the shipping and production areas. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials. Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the maintenance team. Serve as a backup CDL spotter driver. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while operating equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals.

Qualifications:

Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL) with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Experience as a CDL driver is preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Working Conditions :

Exposure to loud noises, moving machinery, and hazardous materials. Must be able to lift 50 to 75lbs.
