Overview We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including the safe operation of various types of material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of goods through shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety standards, accuracy in materials handling, and a proactive approach to warehouse management. Responsibilities Operate forklift trucks, to move material. Load and unload shipments accurately. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment utilizing barcode scanning technology and order picker tools. Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems and conduct regular stock counts. Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal operation; report maintenance needs promptly. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for easy access and efficient workflow. Adhere to manual handling procedures for heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries. Implement warehouse safety standards during all operations to promote a secure environment.
