1st Shift Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our team in Wheeling, IL. This role is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials within a warehouse or production environment. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to transport materials throughout the facility Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner Move products to and from storage areas, staging areas, and production lines Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to track inventory (if applicable) Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures Qualifications Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred) Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and safety Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Reliable attendance and punctuality Basic warehouse or logistics experience preferred Schedule & Benefits 1st Shift (hours may vary based on operations) Competitive pay at $18/hour Opportunity for overtime (if applicable) Temp-to-hire opportunity based on performance Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
