Forklift Driver in Screening Department Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Driver in the Screening Department at a leading international third-party logistics company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently screened and prepared for air export, contributing to the seamless movement of goods across the globe. Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift to transport pallets of products to the screening team. Assist in the screening of cargo, ensuring all necessary certifications are obtained for air transport. Move cleared pallets to the staging area for loading onto ULDs and subsequent transport. Participate in general labor tasks including packing, palletizing, shipping, and receiving. Maintain inventory records and contribute to overall warehouse organization. Essential Skills Proficient in operating a sit-down forklift. Experience in warehouse, packaging, and material handling. Ability to consistently lift 50lbs. Basic math skills and proficiency in reading and writing English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in a cross-dock 3PL environment is a plus. Willingness to learn cargo screening processes. Work Environment The work environment is a clean, cross-dock facility where products are efficiently moved in and out within 24 hours. Though not temperature-controlled, the facility offers consistent air flow with plenty of dock doors, maintaining a mild temperature. The role requires working approximately 50 hours a week. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
