Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Scan locations and pull products using an RF Scanner to fulfill customer orders safely and effectively. Ensures all units are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport. Safely and quickly unloading trucks that arrive for delivery and placing in a checking zone. Checks the orders against the shipping manifest for accuracy, and the product for any damage; then puts the orders away in the designated warehouse location. Must keep work areas clean and orderly, maintaining, inspecting and submitting forklift records. Help with the performance of inventory counts to assure accuracy of product base. Performing inventory re-sets as needed to accommodate quantities on hand. Report any damaged goods to supervisor for immediate reporting to the shipping vendor.

Monday-Friday 6am - 230pm
PAY:
$20.00/hr depending on experience, with benefits
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled. Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem. 3 years of sit-down forklift operation with warehouse experience. Must be able to work in a team environment. High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of building materials a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Job Functions:
The ability to read and follow printed or digital information and instructions to pull the required material to complete a customer's order in a quick, self-reliant, and efficient manner.
Equipment:
The ability to pass all requirements for running and using a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, while wearing and using any safety equipment such as safety glasses, non-slip hard soled puncture resistant shoes and anything else deemed necessary.
Climbing:
Must possess the ability to climb, work, and carry items up and down ladders.
Manual Dexterity:
The ability to make quick accurate, skillful, coordinated movements of one hand, one hand in coordination with its arm, or two hands to grasp, place, move, or assemble objects for orders. Coordinated with the ability to use eye and hand coordination to determine proper distances and levels when moving product from a truck to the floor and into racking system for storage.
Safety Harness:
The ability to wear the safety harness to perform job functions when needed.
Lifting Capabilities:
Possess the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, multiple times daily without assistance. Or up to 100 pounds with assistance. The required method is to have a partner or use available tools for any object over 70 pounds.
Work Conditions:
The ability to perform job activities, with appropriate intermittent relief where applicable, under difficult work conditions such as extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, while exposed to constant and intermittent sounds.
