Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods within our distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Duties Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and cranes, to move materials safely within the warehouse. Load and unload products from delivery trucks and containers using RF scanners for accurate inventory management. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in the organization of inventory within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage methods are followed. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job. Familiarity with materials handling procedures and best practices. Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
