Overview Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, where you'll be the backbone of our warehouse operations! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, manage inventory, and ensure smooth logistics flow. You'll be responsible for safely operating forklifts, to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and barcode scanning will help keep our manufacturing facility running at peak performance. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of forklifts to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology to track materials accurately. Pick orders efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and manual handling procedures. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outbound shipments. Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure all material handling equipment operates safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, stock levels, and shipment details following OSHA safety standards. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas, performing heavy lifting tasks, and ensuring proper storage practices. Requirements Proven experience operating forklift equipment or pallet jacks within a warehouse setting. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely while following OSHA safety standards in production environments. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving procedures and materials handling best practices. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Experience with equipment repair or troubleshooting forklift issues is a plus. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
