Job Description

Material Stacker Position Description:
Ensures built quantity matches the ordered quantity. Transports built product to the proper storage zone. Communicate order completion. Maintains a safe and clean stacking area. Maintain banding equipment and monitors banding supplies quantities and communicates needs. Responsible for maintaining the stacker forklift. Oversees banding,beveling,sheathing. Performs misc. repairs with finished product.
Qualifications:
Forklift experience preferred. Capable of lifting heavy loads. Shows supervision capability. Good organization ability. Has comprehensive understanding of K.A. numbering system and understands stacking procedure. Understands safety concerns involved when banding orders
POSITION GOALS 50
% Ø Finished orders are organized and are easily identified for shipping as scheduled. 35% Ø Products are bound in proper quantities, with accurate piece counts, and all markings in place. 10% Ø Subordinates are all given training adequate to perform there jobs. 5% Ø All equipment is in good operating condition. % Ø % Ø
OBJECTIVE
Monitor quantities for accuracy with ordered quantities. Utilize the yard organizational plan to efficiently store finished products. Follow prescribed maintenance plan to minimize any equipment downtime. Involve subordinates in various yard activities to elevate their skills. Participate in training when provided. Monitor finished product for adequate quality. Follow safe work habits. Routinely check supply inventories. Perform routine quality checks 1st shift: M-F 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. with occasional Saturdays
