Job details Summary Spherion $16.00 per hour Temporary 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_176710 Job details Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Walkie Rider / Ride-On Pallet Jack Operator for a 3-month temporary assignment. In this role, you will safely operate an electric walkie rider equipped with extended forks to move, stage and transport double-skid loads.

Safely maneuver an electric ride-on pallet jack with extended forks to move two skids simultaneously through a busy warehouse environment. Order Picking & Staging:
Use RF scanners to locate inventory, build stable double-pallets, and stage them efficiently in outbound lanes. Equipment Inspections:
Perform daily pre-shift safety checks on the walkie rider (battery, brakes, steering, and hydraulics). Inbound/Outbound Support:
Assist with loading/unloading trailers and restocking warehouse picking bins. Safety & Cleanliness:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and keep aisles clear of debris and empty pallets. Qualifications Experience:
6+ months of experience operating a ride-on electric pallet jack. Experience handling extended forks / double skids is highly preferred. Availability:
Must be able to reliably work the night shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) for the full 3-month contract. Physical Needs:
Ability to stand/ride for long periods and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. Working hours:
11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Skills:
Experience handling extended forks / double skids is highly preferred. Experience creating shipping labels, BOLS, and utilizing warehouse inventory management systems. Education:
No Degree Required Experience:
1-4 years Qualifications:
6+ months of experience operating a forklift or ride-on electric pallet jack. Strong spatial awareness for maneuvering long loads, RF scanner experience, inventory control, experience reworking pallets, and excellent punctuality.
