Heavy Forklift Operator (20 Ton+) -
Multiple Shifts Location:
Russellville, KY Starting Pay:
$20.00/hour + $0.50 raise after 90 days Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Heavy Forklift Operator (20 Ton or larger) to join our team in Russellville, KY. This role reports directly to the Site Supervisor or Warehouse Manager and plays a critical part in supporting production and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in operating large-capacity forklifts in demanding warehouse or production settings. Key Responsibilities Operate 20-ton (or larger) heavy forklifts safely and efficiently Support production and warehouse material handling activities Ensure safety, quality, and delivery standards are met at all times Maintain professional communication with customers and team members Identify and communicate supply and material needs Escalate operational concerns appropriately when needed Train new team members on equipment and facility processes Utilize WMS systems and handheld scanning devices Assist with various operational duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications At least 2 years of recent experience operating 20-ton (or larger) heavy forklifts (required) Valid, current driver's license (not suspended, revoked, or expired) High School Diploma or GED Strong understanding of manufacturing or warehousing environments Experience with WMS inventory systems Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for up to 12+ hours per shift Ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs regularly Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and grasping Exposure to varying temperatures (extreme heat or cold possible) Exposure to noise, vibration, chemicals, electrical hazards, and industrial equipment Tools & Equipment Used 20 Ton or larger Heavy Forklifts Pallet Jacks Handheld Scanners WMS Inventory Systems Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Various hand tools, power tools, air tools Standard PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves) What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and consistent attendance Safety-first mindset Self-accountable and reliable Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and customers If you are an experienced heavy forklift operator looking for a stable opportunity with competitive starting pay and growth potential, we encourage you to apply today.
