Load and unload trucks safely, securing elevator components and hardware appropriately on the flatbed and within the warehouse. Follow established warehouse protocols and equipment procedures to uphold safety standards in all material handling activities. Adhere to DOT requirements when operating company vehicles, including pre-trip inspections, safe driving practices, and accurate documentation. Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards by performing routine housekeeping and maintaining orderly storage locations. Collaborate with team members to prioritize orders, resolve inventory discrepancies, and ensure timely deliveries to job sites. Handle shipping documents and records accurately, maintaining organized files and ensuring traceability for all shipments. Essential Skills Valid forklift certification with demonstrated experience operating a sit-down forklift to move heavy materials safely. Valid DOT certification required for operating commercial vehicles in compliance with federal and state regulations. Ability to complete and manage shipping and receiving documentation accurately, including bills of lading and shipping labels. Working knowledge of inventory practices such as cycle counting, labeling, and tracking inbound and outbound materials. Familiarity with using shipping systems, including FedEx platforms, to process and track outbound shipments. Strong commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse protocols, equipment procedures, and DOT requirements. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with field technicians and internal team members. Capability to lift, move, and secure heavy elevator components and hardware while following safe material handling practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting construction, elevator, or mechanical service projects through warehouse and delivery operations. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders, deliveries, and inventory tasks simultaneously. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Basic computer skills for using shipping software, inventory systems, and electronic documentation. Why Work Here? You will join a team that values reliability, safety, and mutual support, where your work directly contributes to the success of field technicians and customer projects.
