Do you enjoy operating forklifts, hoists, lift beams with swivel-hooks, and elevated platforms with precision? Are you the person who double-checks every load for accuracy and moves it safely to its next stop? Do you like keeping production flowing by staging the right materials at the right time using FIFO? What you will do Use levers and controls to operate forklifts, hoists, lift beams with swivel-hooks, and elevated platforms for loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking materials. Inspect product loads for accuracy and move them safely through the warehouse or facility to ensure on-time, complete delivery. Manually or mechanically load/unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, vehicles, lifting devices, or other transport equipment. Place lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes; secure materials/products and route to designated areas. Weigh materials/products and record weights or other production data on tags or labels. Rhythms you'll master Apply FIFO to maintain the correct material sequence. Anticipate line requirements and stage materials to keep production running smoothly without delays. Quality mindset Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify issues, errors, or defects and report them through the proper channels.
