Evans Distribution Systems , one of the area's leading logistics providers, is looking for experienced Forklift Driver for its growing Division in New Hudson, MI. Description Unload inbound shipments safely and move products as needed Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation Prepare necessary paperwork and submit to operations manager Frequent & repetitive lifting using both hands/arms for items weighing approximately 40lbs The Lifting frequency may be in excess of 100 repetitions per-shift Frequent bending and twisting at waist/knees/neck while off-loading and loading trucks Help maintain cleanliness of warehouse and building grounds Handle customer products with integrity Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards Assist in warehousing operations as needed, and all other miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor Maintain the facility's equipment and materials with integrity in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion Responsible for awareness and compliance with warehouse work rules and company policies Lift using proper safety methods provided by the company Requirements High school degree/GED 3 years' experience driving a Reach Truck Forklift & Sit-down Forklift is a must Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing (including background check and drug test) Details & Location Position located in the city of New Hudson, MI Shift from 6am to 230pm must be flexible to work Saturdays and overtime How to
