Job Description
Job Overview Wynalda Packaging is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support production on 2nd and 3rd shift . This hands-on role is essential to keeping materials flowing efficiently throughout our facility, ensuring production teams have the supplies they need while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a manufacturing setting, takes pride in attention to detail, and is committed to supporting a team dedicated to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Move materials throughout the production and warehouse areas using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to transport raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods. Operate the jogger/aerator machine to prepare and turn stacks of paper products for production. Ensure the timely delivery of materials and supplies to production departments to support uninterrupted workflow. Pull, stage, verify, and deliver materials according to production orders and schedules. Assist with inventory management by identifying, labeling, storing, and tracking materials and supplies. Verify material quantities and product information to maintain inventory accuracy. Load and unload materials as needed while following all safety procedures and company standards. Maintain clean, organized, and safe production, storage, and loading areas. Conduct routine equipment checks and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow all company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred but not required. Willingness to obtain a Hi-Lo (forklift) license and operate industrial forklifts. Wynalda Packaging provides forklift training and certification. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move materials throughout the facility. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
