Job Description
Join GXO Logistics as a PIT Operator supporting 2nd shift operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will operate powered industrial trucks (such as reach trucks and order pickers) to move, load and unload pallets, stage and replenish inventory, and support order fulfillment while meeting performance and accuracy goals. You'll complete equipment inspections, follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas. Working with a collaborative team, you'll use RF scanners and warehouse systems, support continuous improvement and help deliver excellent service to GXO's global customers. Responsibilities Operate powered industrial trucks to move, load and unload pallets and materials Support order picking, staging, put-away and replenishment activities Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory and orders Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report issues Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements and facility rules Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5 S/housekeeping standards Meet productivity, accuracy and quality targets for 2nd shift operations Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to resolve workflow issues Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks and stock reconciliation Support continuous improvement and standard operating procedures Required Skills Powered industrial truck (PIT) operation Forklift and reach truck operation Order picking and pallet handling RF scanner and WMS usage Basic inventory control Safety and OSHA compliance Equipment inspection and routine checks Loading and unloading trailers Material handling in high-bay racking Basic data entry and scanner-based tracking
