Now Hiring for Material Handlers near Wilmar, MN 12 hour shifts with days or nights available Days- 6 am to 6pm $20/hr Nights- 12am-12pm / 6pm to 6 am $20/hr Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff. Duties Operate forklifts, including standard forklifts and cherry pickers, to move materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload shipments from trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts. Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Maintain organization of the warehouse by properly storing materials in designated locations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency. Follow all OSHA regulations and safety guidelines while operating equipment. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are utilized. Requirements Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Valid forklift operator certification preferred; knowledge of OSHA standards is a plus. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and inventory management. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
