Opportunity:

We are seeking a forklift operator who enjoys staying active to join our team in Lonsdale, MN. This role ensures lumber and materials are delivered efficiently, maintains yard organization and safety, completes equipment inspections, and assists with facility maintenance as needed.

What You'll Be Doing:

Forklift Operations (50%): Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and stage materials. Prioritize production needs and maintain safety protocols. Lumber Yard (10%): Maintain organized material storage zones and assist with receiving shipments. Equipment Maintenance (10%): Complete daily pre-use inspection checklists and report maintenance issues immediately. Clean-Up & Stacking (10%): Keep loading zones and travel paths clear of debris and scrap. Facility Maintenance (10%): Support general upkeep, including using a skid steer for snow or debris removal as needed. Communication (10%): Coordinate with the Floor Manager and delivery drivers regarding daily priorities and staging locations. What Makes You a

Great Fit:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in logistics, production support, or construction/manufacturing operations. Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified) and skid steer experience preferred. Strong attention to safety in a busy outdoor/shop environment. Proficiency in English is required for coordination with delivery drivers. Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred, as shop leads primarily speak Spanish. Why work with our client?
