Essential Functions
  • Receives information from management on product to be produced
  • Ensures proper code dates are programmed for each product produced.
  • Maintains close communication with the lead and/or supervisor regarding product parameters, and dough consistency.
  • Measures, records and adjusts machine and oven temperatures to maintain product consistency and appearance within specifications.
  • Maintains product weight within specifications.
  • Constantly monitors the appearance of the product and takes the necessary corrective actions to maintain it within specifications.
  • Properly fills out all records and reports, in accordance with applicable work instructions.
  • Reprocesses product as appropriate.
  • Verifies equipment is in good working condition; communicates to management any deficiencies noted.
  • Assists in the training of new personnel.
  • Provides suggestions to improve process, procedures and department in support of company goals
  • Follows Company, GMP and Safety policies including LOTO to ensure compliance with the HACCP program and AIB gold standard.
  • Follows all food safety principles and legal requirements
  • Maintains a positive and constructive work environment within the department as well as with other departments and promotes teamwork.
  • Works in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.
  • Participates in monthly departmental meetings.
  • Must work various shifts and hours including holidays and weekends.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
