Job Description

Hiring Forklift Operators 9am-6pm, pay up to 24/hr Job Description The Shipper and Receiver is responsible for handling all finished goods entering and leaving the facility, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely, correct shipments. This role involves frequent use of forklifts and pallet jacks, regular inventory checks, and computer-based tracking of inventory levels in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Receive all finished goods that arrive at the facility and verify quantities and product details against documentation. Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring items are packed securely and labeled accurately. Ship products out correctly by following established procedures, shipping schedules, and documentation requirements. Perform regular inventory checks to confirm inventory levels are accurate and up to date. Use a computer to check, update, and track inventory levels within the warehouse management or inventory system. Operate forklifts, including Bendi and Drexell forklifts, to move, load, and unload products safely within the facility. Use pallet jacks to transport materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse. Pick orders accurately and stage them for shipment according to customer and internal requirements. Handle materials and products throughout the warehouse, including loading, unloading, and organizing stock. Walk frequently throughout the facility to locate, move, and verify materials and finished goods. Lift boxes weighing between 1 and 35 pounds throughout the day as part of normal material handling duties. Carry boxes up an industrial ladder when required to store or retrieve items in the warehouse. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and moving materials in a controlled manufacturing environment. Essential Skills At least 2 years of forklift operating experience, specifically with Bendi or Drexell forklifts. Proficiency operating pallet jacks for safe and efficient material movement. Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ability to perform inventory checks and maintain accurate inventory records. Competence using computers for inventory tracking and related warehouse tasks. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for basic documentation and reporting. Strong material handling skills, including picking, packing, and labeling products. Ability to walk frequently and lift boxes weighing up to 35 pounds throughout the workday. Attention to detail to ensure accurate shipping, receiving, labeling, and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous plastics manufacturing or plastics warehouse experience is a strong plus. Experience as a warehouse worker, machine operator, or in a similar logistics or distribution role. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, controlled manufacturing environment. Comfort working at heights on an industrial ladder when storing or retrieving inventory. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a fast-paced, controlled manufacturing and warehouse environment. You will spend much of the day on your feet, walking throughout the facility and handling materials. The work involves regular lifting of boxes weighing between 1 and 35 pounds and occasionally carrying boxes up an industrial ladder to store or retrieve items in the warehouse. You will frequently operate forklifts, including Bendi and Drexell models, as well as pallet jacks to move products and materials safely. The environment is structured and safety-focused, with established procedures for material handling, inventory control, and equipment operation. Standard warehouse and manufacturing attire is expected, with appropriate safety gear used as required by facility guideline Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
