Job Description

Findlay Tall Timbers Distribution Center is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. In this role, you will operate powered industrial equipment to move, store, and load products efficiently while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to all safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload trailers according to customer specifications Move, stack, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations Pick mixed pallets and prepare orders for shipment Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy Audit paperwork and packing lists to ensure products received match documentation Inspect loads and products for damage Prepare pallets for shipment, including wrapping, banding, and securing loads Perform forklift inspections and identify equipment issues Optimize trailer and warehouse space utilization Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate effectively with team members and leadership Follow all company safety policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous forklift experience Experience using RF scanners or warehouse technology Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic math and counting abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally Ability to stand for extended periods Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and bending Ability to safely perform warehouse-related physical activities throughout the workday Work Environment This position operates in a warehouse environment and may include: Working around forklifts, trailers, and other heavy equipment Moderate to high noise levels Working in close proximity to team members Indoor and occasional outdoor work assignments Exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on seasonal weather conditions Occasional manual labor and material handling responsibilities Why Join Us?
