Job Description

Fork Lift Operator Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Tupelo MS area, is seeking a Certified Forklift Operator to join their team! This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Forklift Operator Job Summary:
Pay:
$15.60 per hour

Shift:
6am -until M-F OT may be required Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage raw materials, fiber products, foam products, and finished goods. Supply production lines with materials as needed to maintain production schedules. Transport finished products to warehouse storage locations or shipping areas. Inspect forklifts before each shift and complete required safety checklists. Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate inventory movements using scanners, inventory systems, or paperwork. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage and contamination. Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization activities. Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and housekeeping procedures. Support shipping and receiving operations as required. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Current forklift certification required. Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred. Experience working in a fiber, foam, plastics, or industrial manufacturing setting is a plus. Basic math, reading, and communication skills. Ability to accurately complete paperwork and inventory records.
