Forklift Driver/Material Handler

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the movement of materials within our warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities Operate standup forklifts, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers, to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Perform order picking tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy in inventory management. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure safe operation. Assist in the organization of warehouse space for optimal efficiency and safety. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a clean work environment. Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy machinery. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds). Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is preferred. Experience in order picking and working within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
