$19. 50 hour Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator with 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to manage inventory using a scanner and computer system, as well as handling and organizing pallets effectively.

Responsibilities:

Operate stand-up or sit-down forklifts within a warehouse setting. Scan inventory in and out using a scanner and a computer system. Stack, load, unload, and stage pallets efficiently. Utilize electric pallet jacks for material handling. Perform additional tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and organizing as needed.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience operating either a sit-down or traditional stand-up forklift. Proficiency in using scanners and computer systems for inventory management. Competence in handling pallets for stacking, loading, unloading, and staging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Forklift certification is preferred (traditional stand-up or sit-down). Experience with inventory, shipping, and receiving is a plus. Comfortable performing various tasks such as cleaning and organizing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bayonne, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
