Job Description

Looking for infusion nurse for busy oncology private practice. Ideal Skill set
  • start IV access ports and picc lines
  • administer all injections SC and IM (b12, procrit, lupron, sandostatin ect)
  • administer IV hydration, IV iron
  • review and call all abnormal labs and imaging that MD may order and discuss with MD
  • assist in paper work (disability, family leave, prior authorization)
  • be familiar with EMR and document accordingly in the MAR
  • be comfortable monitoring patient receiving chemotherapy (or be willing to learn from MD)
  • be a good team player and can work with people from different backgrounds
  • be able to follow infection control policies in setting of
COVID-19
