Forklift Operator/Material Handler Wage:
$19.00 per hour
Shift:
2nd
Hours:
3:00pm-11:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift Operator/Material Handler position available at a company in Bridgeton, MO. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Forklift Operator/Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the plant.
  • Load, unload, transport, stack, and store pallets, corrugated sheets, boxes, and finished products.
  • Supply production lines with materials according to production schedules and work orders.
  • Coordinate with production operators, supervisors, and other forklift drivers to maintain workflow and efficiency.
  • Use inventory tracking systems and scanners to record material movements and locations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure continuous support for manufacturing operations.
  • Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
Forklift Operator/Material Handler Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work safely around machinery and industrial traffic.
