Looking for Material Equipment Operator jobs in Cranbury where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? We are seeking experienced and safety-focused PIT Operators to join our team in Cranbury, NJ. In this role, you will operate powered industrial equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment while supporting daily material handling, picking, replenishment, and warehouse operations. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer skills required for warehouse systems and RF scanner use. Experience Requirements Previous warehouse and material handling experience required. Must have hands-on experience operating all four of the following: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack, and Forklift. Experience with order picking, replenishment, put-away, inventory movement, and shipping/receiving preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced distribution environment. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, OSHA regulations, and powered industrial truck (PIT) best practices. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and move throughout the shift. Capable of lifting, carrying, and handling warehouse materials safely. Comfortable working at heights while operating a Cherry Picker and other PIT equipment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Job Duties Safely operate Cherry Pickers, Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, and Forklifts to support daily warehouse operations. Pick, stage, load, unload, replenish, and transport inventory throughout the facility. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse technology to track inventory and complete orders accurately. Inspect equipment before use and report safety concerns, damage, or mechanical issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment while following company policies and OSHA standards.
