Forklift Operator

Our client, a premier distributor of fine wines and spirits, is looking for Turret Drivers to join their team in Edison, NJ . In this specialized role, you will operate Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklifts to efficiently manage inventory in a high-density warehouse environment, ensuring the safe and precise movement of products at significant elevations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely navigate Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) turret trucks to lift, move, and stack materials at high elevations, reaching up to 40+ feet. Perform precision order picking and replenishment to support daily distribution goals. Maintain the highest standards of inventory accuracy through careful handling and placement of stock. Optimize warehouse storage space by adhering to specific stacking and organization protocols. Follow all company safety regulations and equipment checklists to ensure a secure working environment. Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily throughput targets in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience specifically operating a Turret Truck/VNA forklift. Turret truck experience must be clearly documented on your resume for consideration. Proven ability to work comfortably and safely at high elevations (40+ feet). Strong attention to detail and a high level of spatial awareness for navigating tight aisles. Reliability and the ability to work a late-afternoon/evening schedule. Commitment to warehouse safety protocols and equipment maintenance.

Pay & Schedule Pay Rate:

$19.00 per hour

4:00 PM - 12:30 AM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Overtime:

Possible mandatory overtime on weekends based on business volume
