Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator / Clamp Truck Driver to support our Variable Data Center. This role is responsible for safely moving paper rolls, printed materials, and production supplies using forklifts and clamp trucks. The ideal candidate has experience handling large paper rolls or similar materials and understands the importance of precision to avoid product damage in a print production environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move large paper rolls, skids, and finished printed materials Safely load and unload deliveries of paper stock, envelopes, and print materials Transport materials to and from printing presses and production areas Use clamp attachments to handle paper rolls without causing damage Stage materials for production runs based on job requirements and schedules Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including proper material handling techniques Assist press operators and production teams with material needs Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications:

Prior experience operating a forklift and clamp truck required Experience in a printing, paper, packaging, or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to safely handle large paper rolls and delicate printed materials Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to follow production schedules and work orders Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
