Full Job Description Description:
Position Summary The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate movement, storage, and shipment of finished goods and materials within a fast-paced cold chain manufacturing environment. This role requires proven forklift operation (stand-up preferred), strong inventory accuracy, and experience with shipping/receiving processes and systems. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must be capable of performing core responsibilities with minimal supervision from day one. Key Responsibilities Operate stand-up forklift (Raymond or similar) safely and efficiently Load and unload trailers with accurate product verification (SKU, quantity, condition) Execute shipping and receiving processes, including Bill of Lading (BOL) documentation Perform system transactions using scanners/WMS with high accuracy Stage, move, and store materials to support production flow Conduct inventory counts and resolve discrepancies Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in all work areas
Requirements:
Required Qualifications (Level 2-3 Entry) 2-4+ years of hands-on forklift experience (stand-up preferred) Proven experience in shipping/receiving and warehouse operations Ability to use scanners or WMS systems independently Demonstrated track record of inventory accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work in cold/freezer environments What Success Looks Like Accurate shipments with zero errors in BOL or product counts Safe, efficient forklift operation with no incidents Minimal supervision required for daily tasks Consistent performance under production demands Hourly Rate $22.50
