Forklift Operator 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars Logistics One has an opportunity for an experienced forklift operator to join our team in Saratoga Springs. Equipment operators are responsible for the unloading/loading of palletized goods from trailers, putting palletized goods away in correct warehouse locations, safe operation of industrial power equipment. Prior forklift experience is required, must be comfortable with heights as use of turret lifts will be required, experience using double forks and preferred but not required. We provide warehousing solutions to a number of clients throughout the local and Northeast markets. Pay:

$17hr base Plus Incentive Performance Program Responsibilities and Duties Perform each duty with safety and efficiency. Pull inventory from the correct location as per pick instructions via tablet. Stage inventory, load out-bound shipments from staged inventory or live load via forklift Unload in-bound inventory and place in proper storage location/racking via forklift Accurately complete proper documentation for load and unload. Use sound housekeeping during each activity cleaning and putting tools and equipment in its proper location. Perform forklift inspections as per OSHA and/or Logistics One requirements. Other duties as assigned by warehouse management.

Skills Required:

Safety conscious, attention to detail, able to work with minimal supervision, strong forklift skills with various attachments, read from pick sheets, pull inventory and accurately document inventory movements. Basic computer skills or willingness to learn are required for some basic duties.

Physical Demands:

Ability to operate forklift for 8hr shift, ability to safely climb into & out of equipment. Walking on concrete floors. Ability to perform general activities that may occur in a warehouse environment.

Work Environment:

Busy warehouse environment is not climate controlled; Incumbent must dress accordingly. Safety shoes required as well as the use of other PPE as required for the job function.
