In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach will help maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your warehouse experience and mechanical skills in a fast-paced setting that values safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods, and maintaining detailed logs Handle materials with care during heavy lifting tasks to prevent damage and ensure safety compliance Manage inventory movement within the warehouse management system (WMS), updating records for stock levels and locations Support warehouse supervision by adhering to OSHA safety standards, conducting safety checks, and reporting hazards promptly Collaborate with team members on construction-related tasks or projects requiring mechanical knowledge or heavy equipment operation Skills Extensive experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, crane equipment, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery with proper certification Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for warehouse safety Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance checks Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory control processes Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Construction or heavy equipment operation background enhances versatility in handling diverse tasks Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to operational excellence!
