Job Description
Job Summary About the Role We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our production team. This role is essential in keeping our machines supplied, maintaining smooth material flow, and ensuring finished products are staged and loaded with care. If you're a team player who takes pride in efficiency, safety, and organization—this is the opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities Safely and effectively operate a forklift to support production. Keep equipment lines full—machines should never wait for product. Remove product from out-feed lines, stage neatly on the floor, and load securely onto trailers. Read and follow the production schedule, keeping your supervisor informed of any issues. Maintain accurate inventory and organize finished goods. Handle bales efficiently, minimizing forklift damage by proper handling. Perform daily forklift inspections and immediately report defects. Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures. Maintain good housekeeping in work areas and report any incidents or safety concerns immediately. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a positive, productive workplace. Take ownership of forklift care and upkeep. Perform additional duties as assigned.
