Job Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. Our St. Henry Harvesting plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Forklift/High Lift Operator team members to join our team in St. Henry.
Operating various lift trucks and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
Communicating effectively with carrier. Scanning all outbound loads correctly, filling out pattern sheet and verifying all loads are accurate per packing list/order. Weighing pallets with boxes/cases to attain proper weights and transferring to cooler, freezer, or loading on trailers.
SHIFT HOURS
Monday through Friday 2:00pm-10:30pmSTARTING HOURLY RATE
$20.00 with a potential increase after 90 days.ADDITIONAL PAY
Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance) All training will be provided for this position.Job functions include:
Moving product from freezer and cooler areas to load trucks accordingly and effectively.Operating various lift trucks and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
