  • Responsibilities for a Forklift Operator include but are not limited to:

Trailer Receiving & Unloading:
  • Manually receive inbound trailers at the International Distribution Center (IDC), efficiently unloading large, bulky freight and heavy consumer products. +
  • Pallet Building & Staging:
  • Safely build secure pallets of heavy, oversized merchandise—including patio furniture, televisions, and air conditioners—requiring intense physical effort. +
  • Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Operation:
  • Safely transport freight across the warehouse floor utilizing manual or electric pallet jacks, adhering to all facility safety guidelines. +
  • Inventory Control & Documentation:
  • Read, track, and verify shipping labels and inventory logs using good reading, writing, and communication skills to ensure order accuracy.
  • Candidates for Forklift Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Warehouse Experience:
  • Previous familiarity working within a fast-paced warehouse, shipping/receiving, or heavy industrial logistics distribution environment. +
  • Equipment Proficiency:
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), specifically manual and electric pallet jacks. +
  • Physical Capability:
  • Ability to consistently lift, push, pull, and maneuver items weighing up to 75 pounds throughout an entire 8-hour shift. +
  • Dependability:
  • Strong communication skills and consistent, reliable attendance to support early morning shift operations.

  • $18.
