In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes, accurate order picking, and seamless shipping and receiving operations. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments. Perform order picking with pickers and ensure accurate selection of items for shipment or inventory. Manage materials handling tasks including stacking, organizing, and storing goods within the warehouse. Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance with OSHA standards. Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) data entry for inventory tracking and order processing. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and maintain high safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking and shipping processes. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling environments is highly preferred. Valid forklift certification is required; additional certifications such as OSHA training or warehouse supervisor experience are a plus. Shifts Available Weekday Shift (Monday-Thursday) 1st
