The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of goods. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally. Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to company policies. Assist in moving goods as necessary during loading and unloading processes. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred, but not needed. Previous experience as a van driver or courier is advantageous. Familiarity with operating pallet jacks and forklifts is desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Proven experience in commercial driving, demonstrating a solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with moving cargo. A reliable work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
