Job Title:
Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating a Stand Up forklift to manage inbound and outbound activities, including loading and unloading trucks. Your role will include picking full pallets and ensuring products are stored correctly. Attention to detail is crucial as you will be dealing with FDA-regulated products, where quality takes precedence over quantity. You must be capable of identifying mistakes and ensuring compliance with GMP/SOP standards. Responsibilities Operate Stand Up forklift for inbound and outbound activities. Load and unload trucks efficiently. Pick full pallets and store products appropriately. Maintain high quality standards while handling FDA-regulated products. Identify and correct mistakes, ensuring adherence to GMP/SOPs. Essential Skills Experience operating Stand Up forklifts. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail. Good computer and RF scanner skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with GMPs/SOPs is beneficial. SAP/Inventory experience is advantageous. Stable work history is preferred. The facility is brand new and air-conditioned in the summer, but not heated in winter due to product temperature requirements. The site serves as a distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing, handling activities like roasting beans and making chocolate liquor and powders. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
