Fork Lift Operator

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, stack, and organize materials in our warehouse. This is a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and maintaining a safe working environment.

Duties:

Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse Stack and organize products in designated storage areas Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs Assist with inventory control by accurately recording stock movements Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure timely fulfillment of orders Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while operating the forklift Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

Experience:

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role Proficient in operating various types of forklifts including cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record stock movements Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Skills:

Warehouse:

Familiarity with warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.

Cherry picker:

Proficiency in operating cherry pickers or similar equipment.

Shipping receiving:

Understanding of shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse environment.

Clamp truck:

Experience operating clamp trucks or similar material handling equipment.

OSHA:

Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.

Forklift:

Expertise in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.

Warehouse management:

Understanding of warehouse management systems and procedures.

Heavy equipment operation:
