1st Shift - Warehouse/Driver Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse/Driver on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. Start times may vary slightly depending on the delivery schedule for the day, but you will always have your weekends free. Responsibilities Drive a company van to complete local deliveries for approximately 50% of your workday. Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently. Work in the warehouse for the remainder of the day, including picking and packing orders, receiving and stocking inventory, and general warehouse organization and housekeeping. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Provide friendly, professional service to customers during deliveries. Essential Skills Experience with warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and material handling. Ability to handle inventory and use RF scanners. Proficiency in basic mathematics including addition and subtraction. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable driving a cargo van for local routes. Capability to lift, move, and carry packages. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but training will be provided. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team. Enjoys a mix of physical work, driving, and warehouse tasks. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will be working in a warehouse environment where it is warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter. There is no air conditioning, but heaters are available for the winter months. The shipping area has loading docks that allow cooler air in during the winter. The warehouse is quiet and well-ventilated. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
