Forklift Operator- Mechanicsburg, PA! Job Description We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support a busy distribution facility by safely operating Crown Reach Trucks to move, stock, and retrieve a variety of products throughout a clean warehouse environment. This position plays a key role in accurate order picking, inventory control, and the efficient handling of cleaning supplies, industrial packaging materials, shrink wrap products, and other warehouse-related goods. Responsibilities Operate a Crown Reach Truck to transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. Pick and pull customer orders accurately using RF scanners and pick sheets. Retrieve products from racking systems and replenish inventory as needed to support continuous operations. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products in designated areas while following safety and handling procedures. Handle products including cleaning chemicals, industrial packaging materials, shrink wrap products, and related warehouse inventory. Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate product counts using RF scanners and inventory management tools. Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment before each shift and promptly report any safety or maintenance concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace. Assist with general warehouse duties such as order picking, loading, unloading, and material handling as needed. Work effectively in a fast-paced production and distribution setting to meet daily operational goals. Work comfortably at heights while operating reach truck equipment to access higher racking levels. Essential Skills Previous experience operating a Reach Truck, preferably Crown equipment, in a warehouse or distribution environment. Proven forklift operating skills with a strong focus on safe material handling. Experience working in distribution, logistics, or warehouse settings. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production and distribution environment. Comfortable working at heights while operating reach truck equipment. Experience using RF scanners for order picking and inventory transactions (preferred). Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and inventory counts. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed during loading, unloading, and material handling tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanner technology. Experience in material handling, loading, unloading, and general labor within a warehouse. Order picking and production experience in a distribution or logistics environment. Ability to perform general warehouse duties, including staging and organizing products. Strong reliability and teamwork skills to support overall warehouse operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
