Job Description

Forklift Operator About the Role We are hiring a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials throughout the facility while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, stay productive throughout the shift, and work effectively as part of a team.

Philadelphia, PA Key Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and stage materials Move products and materials throughout the facility Load and unload trucks as needed Properly organize and store materials in designated locations Assist with inventory control and maintain accurate inventory records Verify quantities and product information Inspect forklift equipment before and during use Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly Follow all workplace, warehouse, and equipment safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow production and warehouse procedures Work efficiently to meet daily productivity goals Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned Qualifications Previous forklift operator experience required Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently Warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or food production experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependable and reliable attendance Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment Commitment to workplace safety Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, and move throughout the facility Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required Ability to safely enter and exit forklift equipment Ability to work around moving equipment and warehouse operations Ability to wear all required PPE IND2
