Forklift Operator

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a Crown turret Forklift Operator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania , for a full-time opportunity on the second shift. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour and a steady Monday through Friday schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The ideal candidate will bring prior forklift experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with turret truck experience who takes pride in precision, productivity, and maintaining a safe workplace.

The Day-to-Day:

Safely operate a turret truck to move, store, and retrieve full pallets within high-bay racking systems Perform case picking as needed while maintaining accuracy and productivity Navigate very narrow aisles using wire-guided or rail-guided systems Use the 180-degree rotating turret head to handle materials on both sides of the aisle without repositioning the vehicle Complete daily pre-start inspections, including checks of the harness and lanyard, battery charge and water level, hydraulic systems, mast chains, forks, and safety lights Conduct cycle counts and use RF scanners to process inbound and outbound materials accurately Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including proper use of a full-body harness and safe load handling practices Report equipment malfunctions, accidents, product damage, or racking concerns to supervisors immediately Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to support a safe operating environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Crown Turret Forklift Certification required Previous forklift operating experience required Ability to work safely at height and within very narrow aisle environments Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory tracking practices is preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Pay Rate:

$18.00 to $22.00 per hour
