Position Summary:

The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift throughout the warehouse while following all applicable safety regulations.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

Follow all safety, food safety, & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) rules and regulations. Accurately complete forklift inspection sheet and clean-up assignment checklist. Perform forklift inspection at the start of each shift. Ability to use the Radio Frequency (RF) system to receive and stock our product or any outside vendor product using the "Movement" function of the RF system. Use the "Pick/Gather" function to pre-stage product for loads when needed. Responsible for unloading all incoming shipments correctly and properly filling out inbound shipping reports. Responsible for loading product onto trailer for shipping to our customers using the RF system. Accurately compare all quantities to packing list and report and damaged product to quality control. Accurately scan product bar codes and complete receiving forms for shipping office. Responsible for ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are kept clean and orderly. Work in a safe manner by following all company rules and regulations as instructed during job orientation and yearly required safety training. Identify issues and communicate them promptly to the Production Supervisor for assistance. All other duties as assigned.
