CERTEX USA
is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our team! Position Overview The Human Resources Manager provides strategic and consultative guidance to drive effective human capital solutions aligned with business goals and objectives. This role works closely with the VPHR to establish procedures to analyze trends and develop workforce plans to resolve issues and make a positive impact on business results. This role maintains employee records of pay, benefits, accidents, performance, and other activities and files reporting required to comply with labor laws and regulations. Collaborates with leadership on special projects. Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties Manages key HR functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, training, diversity, and employee records. Develops and delivers internal staff communication Provide strategic coaching to employees and leaders as related to succession planning, career path development, and performance management Conduct investigations, audits and/or assessments to ensure consistency and compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations Monitors Workers Compensation claims Represents organization and employee related hearings and investigations. Execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department Enter and maintain integrity of the data contained in the HR System and compile reports from database as needed. Provides change management leadership as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information Provide backup support for benefits and payroll as needed Required Skills/Abilities Demonstrated experience in making sound strategic HR decisions and assessing talent Ability to manage moderately complex projects including implementations Excellent collaboration, project management, organizational and change agent skills Knowledge of HR Regulatory Environment & Compliance Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices Other Requirements Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal background check Be able to provide valid documentation to provide proof of citizenship in accordance with I-9 document Display a professional and courteous attitude Report to work at the designated start time Willing to travel to various work sites or training as required Willing to work overtime, nights and weekends when necessary Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures and comply with the Company's "Stop Work" policy Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designation operations and production areas as directed Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and Supervisor with other duties as required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in business or a related area Minimum of seven years' experience in Human Resources or similar role with progressive responsibility Experience in rigging, manufacturing, construction, or mining industries preferred Experience supporting multiple states required, knowledge of California law is a plus. Experience working in mergers and acquisitions required SHRM or HRCI certified professional preferred. Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting 25% travel is required Working Conditions, Hours, Travel Most work is performed in an office/warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets. This is a full-time position. The standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Travel to visit customers within in region as well as occasional travel for meetings or training outside the region is expected for this position Physical Requirements Able to sit for long periods of time Able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 15 pounds The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
