Warehouse Worker Job Description This position involves operating equipment in a warehouse that stores and ships raw materials, with 80-90% of the shift dedicated to this task. Responsibilities Operate sit down forklift and reach truck and elctric pallet jack for most of the shift (certification required) Pick and load orders accurately and efficiently Load and unload trucks Receive and put away goods properly Utilize RF system for picking Periodically lift up to 50 lbs. Essential Skills Sit down forklift certification with 2 years' experience Standup reach truck certification with 2 years' experience Proven experience in picking and loading orders Experience in RF system picking Ability to operate in a warehouse environment Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 2 years' experience in a highly intensive and physical work environment, preferably in manufacturing of food, pharma, or chemical industries Ability to operate stand up forklift Why Work Here? Work Environment Training will occur Monday-Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm for 2 weeks, followed by regular hours of Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:45pm. The job offers stable 40 hours per week. The food manufacturing environment complies with CGMP and HAACP guidelines. Work boots are required, along with adherence to CGMP policies. No jewelry is allowed, and appropriate hair netting must be worn. The warehouse currently employs about 20 associates, including truck drivers, with all products moved via forklift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.14 - $19.14/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
