Measuring & Cutting Specialist/Forklift Operator

$20-22 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Measuring & Cutting Specialist/Forklift Operator to support day-to-day warehouse operations, including material handling/measuring/cutting specialize flooring, order processing, and shipping functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be safety-focused, bring hands-on experience with forklift equipment, and experience with percise measurement tools. Key Responsibilities Must Have 4+ years of Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Perform accurate measuring and cutting of materials based on job specifications Read and interpret a tape measure with precision for cutting and assembly tasks Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment Utilize shipping systems (WMS, UPS/FedEx portals, or similar platforms) to process outbound shipments Verify incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and quality Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals Qualifications 5-7 years of warehouse experience required Prior forklift experience (certification preferred) Strong ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate measurements Experience with measuring and cutting materials in a warehouse or production environment Familiarity with shipping systems / warehouse management systems (WMS) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Preferred Skills Experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting Basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation Strong work ethic and reliability Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse environment Exposure to standard warehouse equipment and conditions Requires standing, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout shift
