Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machine Operator and Forklift Operator, where your skills will drive efficiency and precision in a fast-paced production environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery, including CNC machines, stamping presses, and fabrication equipment, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. You'll be a vital part of our manufacturing process, handling materials with care and operating equipment safely to keep production flowing seamlessly. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment such as press brake machines and stamping presses to produce high-quality parts. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Fanuc systems to program, monitor, and troubleshoot machinery for optimal performance. Safely operate forklifts for materials handling, loading and unloading raw materials or finished products within the manufacturing facility. Read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Conduct routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards. Assist in fabrication tasks including welding, assembly line work, and tooling setup to support manufacturing processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols; perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations. Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience working with machining tools such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or stamping presses. Hands-on experience operating forklifts with valid certification; familiarity with warehouse procedures is a plus. Knowledge of CAD software like SolidWorks or similar design tools for interpreting technical drawings. Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment including CAM programming for CNC operations. Experience with quality control processes using precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. Ability to read blueprints accurately and understand technical specifications; basic math skills are essential.
