In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift and small truck to transport granite slabs. Your expertise in materials handling and warehouse management will ensure smooth operations, accurate order picking, and safe storage of premium stone materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate forklift and small truck to load and unload stone slabs from trucks and storage areas Assist with shipping and receiving processes by preparing materials for dispatch or storage Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure machinery remains in optimal working condition Handle materials with care during movement to prevent damage to delicate stone slabs Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to OSHA safety standards Requirements Proven experience operating forklift and small delivery truck. Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and troubleshooting minor issues Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and materials handling safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements Warehouse experience involving shipping & receiving procedures and order picking processes Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Valid forklift certification preferred; prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus Join our team today and be part of a vibrant environment where your skills in heavy equipment operation and materials handling make a real impact!
